    When the door is shut and the mechanism inside has broken, how hard it is to open, and the time and skill it takes, differ from door to door. We assess it first, then give you an honest final price within this range to open and fix the door. If the door has dropped and needs realigning, that is £20 to £40 + VAT extra, or £50 to £120 + VAT for a heel and toe adjustment, depending on how far it has dropped, whether the glass needs repacking or the hinges replacing, and how heavy the door is.

Locks for older and timber doors in Repton

Repton is a historic village in DE65, between Burton and Derby, and like the outskirts of both it has bigger detached homes with gates, outbuildings and older timber doors.
