What a Coventry lock repair costs

A lock or mechanism repair is £70 to £120 + VAT (£84 to £144 including VAT). How hard the door is to open, and the time and skill the fix takes, differ from door to door, so we find the fault first and agree the labour within that range before starting. Any parts are added on top, and a full mechanism replacement usually comes to £200 to £400 including parts and VAT.

If the door has dropped and needs realigning, that is £20 to £40 + VAT extra, or £50 to £120 + VAT for a heel and toe adjustment.
